From first setup to the first submission – four steps, with most grading handled automatically.
Create a course in a couple of clicks – give it a name, pick the language, and set the level. Your course is ready to receive students.
Share a reusable invite link or add students by username. Anyone who applies to join gets queued for your approval – you control who’s in.
Pick any node or select several at once and assign them to the whole course. Add a deadline if it helps – it's entirely optional.
Assigned nodes appear on each student’s dashboard straight away, sorted by deadline and marked with clear due-date indicators.
Automatic grading, AI assistance where it helps – three things that work differently, worth keeping distinct.
Every completed node is graded automatically the moment the student finishes, essays included. Essays are graded by AI from your monthly AI allowance (see AI exercises, right). If the allowance runs out, grading pauses and resumes when it renews. If your subscription ends, new essay submissions on your nodes are recorded but not graded, and they don't use up a student's attempts.
Students with a Master subscription can tap any wrong answer for an AI explanation of where they went wrong. Free users get a set of trial explanations to try it out. This is a perk of the student's own subscription – separate from node access.
Text-to-audio listening exercises and AI-evaluated writing draw from your monthly AI allowance – not your students'. Any student you've assigned or enrolled can use these with no subscription of their own. You never have to check who's subscribed.
Open your course to see each participant's completed nodes, score, and progress at a glance. Expand any student for a per-node breakdown, or drill in for a full overview and weak-area suggestions.
Whether your course meets online or face-to-face, Node-L is the place to set, grade, and track homework – so the teaching stays human while most of the marking takes care of itself.
